Honey Bronze Review Continued……

This is a continuation of my original Honey Bronze Review. Today  I will be talking about a highlighter, a shimmer balm and a bronzer.

The highlighter is called ‘Shimmer Waves’ and I absolutely LOVE IT. That glow is so bright, you will be able to see it from the moon. They have a variety of shades, and I have a pinky one and I really love it. It can also be used as an eyeshadow, so I really like having the two uses in the one product.

The next product  is the shimmer lip balm, which I am not a huge fan of. I don’t really see the point of this product, as I’m not sure whether it is a lip balm or a metal lipstick or what. It is not extremely moisturising on the lips, and I don’t think that it is worth the £6 price tag.

The final product is the Bronzer and PEOPLE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this product. It is a very warm toned (orange), and it is not very pigmented, and so you apply and apply, trying to get some colour, but then, all of a sudden your face looks like a satsuma that has been rolled in mud. I really don’t like it, and it may just be me, but it didn’t work at all well. I would definitely re-purchase the shimmer waves, but probably not any of the other products. Testing Super Cheap Makeup

Today, I will be reviewing some Primark lip colours, which I have been trying over the past few weeks. Now, these lip colours are cheap as chips, and so I really hoped that they would be amazing, because, lets be rea, we all like to save some money here and there.

My preferred lip colour is nude, and so I tried to pick up the most nude colour possible! I bought one liquid lipstick and one lip crayon, which were both matte. The packaging on the liquid lipstick feels very cheap, but the crayon is actually really lovely and doesn’t feel too cheap.

One thing that did bother me, was that, when they both dried down, they were EXTREMLEY similar colours, like literally exactly the same, so I think that you have to be careful when choosing.

The liquid lipstick applicator was really nice, and I really enjoyed it and I think that it was actually really good!

The lip crayon is really lovely and creamy and I really enjoyed using it. I do think that these lip products are actually really great value for your money, and I will definitely be buying more. Super Healthy Breakfast Smoothie

Now, I know what you’re thinking, ‘healthy’, yes, the word gives me shivers too. Trust me, I like my fair amount of pasta, but you have to take my word for it that this smoothie is so amazingly healthy, yet delicious at the same time.

DSC_0317

The ingredients you need is half a cup of almond milk, one banana, a tablespoon of peanut butter, ice and as much or as little chia seeds as your heart desires(I use about two teaspoons)!

Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. I absolutely love this smoothie, as it is so filling, yet it is under 100 calories!!! If you enjoyed this post, please follow my blog and like this post. See ya next time!

Mac Paint Pot Review

So the Mac Paint Pot is a staple in many beauty gurus videos, as it appears to be one of the ‘best, most amazing, incredibly ridiculously best eye shadow primer/base ever!’ But, I just don’t know, I mean there are so many affordable eyeshadow bases and primers that aren’t £16.

DSC_0311.JPG

So to find out, I did the stupidest thing folks……….I went out and purchased it! Anyways, I bought it to see how amazing this miracle product was. It is a sizable amount and is very thick, and in terms of texture, the best thing that I can compare it to is boing my Benefit, which again is a solid creamy consistency, except boing is a concealer and is slightly more solid than the paint pot. Bearing this in mind, I wanted to try the paint pot as a concealer, because it seemed that it would be quite appropriate for that use, and, you guys know me, I like to get my money’s worth out of a product! As a concealer, it applies really well. I prefer to use my finger to apply it with, as the heat from your finger starts to slightly melt the paint pot and it becomes more malleable.

For it’s actual real purpose as eye shadow primer/base, it is very good, and it does really hold your eye shadow in place for as long as until you take it off, and so I do think that actually it is a very great product and I would recommend it, as I have some nice eyeshadows and without this, they don’t last half as long! If you enjoyed this article please follow my blog, or give me a like and leave a comment down below if you have any questions or anything! Mac Lipstick Review and Dupes

Hello again, today I am reviewing Mac lipsticks, which, as you can see, I have too many of. Now, I’m not saying you can have too many lipsticks, no no no, all I’m saying is that in most cases, it is not necessary to spend £18 on one.

DSC_0281.JPG

Mac lipsticks are lovely and creamy, and they apply very well. They come in a wide variety of finishes from mattes to satin. They’re super pigmented, which means that not a lot of product is necessary in order to create a solid wash of colour. Another bonus of Mac lipsticks is that they have a returns policy, which means that if you bring back 6 empty lipstick containers, you get one free lipstick!

However, I do think that there are other brands which provide the same quality and opacity, but these brands don’t charge your left leg and an arm! For example, the Maybelline Colour me Sensational lipsticks are an excellent dupe for the satin lipsticks from mac, but are a fraction of the price. Wet n’ wild also do amazing lipsticks, that are such great value, but this only applies to our fellow Americans across the pond, because we unfortunately don’t have that in the uk 😦 Finally, Milani lipsticks are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! But, all jokes aside, I think that Mac lipsticks are great , but you can definitely get better for your money!

Don’t forget to follow and give this post a like, and I’ll see ya later!!!!!!!!

Testing Super Cheap Makeup

This post is a continuation of my Primark makeup review, but today folks, I’m reviewing two eyeliners.

Now ngl, I was slightly worried about the eyeliners because I am not a huge eye pencil person, and also putting something really cheap and not amazing ingredients in your waterline seems slightly risky, but I did it anyway!

I picked up a flesh toned eyeliner and a white eyeliner because I have been watching lots of tutorials online which have said that if you put one of these liners in your waterline, then it will open up your eyes amazingly! So to start with, am I being super stupid, or is your waterline flesh toned anyway? So I first swatched the product, and it was super creamy, I mean like super almost butter creamy, which is really nice and it’s super pigmented which is good as it means that you don’t have to put much pressure on your waterline.

The line is extremely long lasting, because it lasted all day for me, but if you are having an event or something in the evening, I would probably re-apply after wearing it for the whole day. DSC_0261.JPG

The actual lining of my eye was super easy, but I would recommend that you line your eyes before doing your face, because I actually pull on my cheek to expose my waterline more, and it really help, so if you do this, do your face makeup afterwards. In conclusion, it was a very good liner, especially for the super low price tag, and it was a light flesh tone, like a Bella Swan-never gets a tan-never sees the sun, kind of pale, but still is a great set of liners, and I would defo recommend them if you are like me, and eyeliner isn’t your favourite product, so you don’t want to spend a bunch! Well if you enjoyed this review, pleaseeeeeeee give it a like and follow my blog, as it would make my day!

See you next time!

The Pursuit of Happiness

Just as a heads up, this is post is going to be as deep as the Mariana’s Trench. As most of you know, I’m fifteen, and so I still have much in life to discover and explore, but this is just a quck post to tell people that your happiness is what you make of it, and if you are living in alife surrounded by misery, find one thing in your lifeto be a beacon of light and hope, and cling to it like Rose clung to that floating door in that tragic scene in the ‘Titanic’ movie. For me, that beacon of light is blogging, and you guys leaving a comment or liking a post, or giving me a follow literally makes my day, and so I just want to say thank you, as you guys have helped provide my beacon of light, and that is more than I could ever ask for. This past year has been very hard for me with my parents splitting up and various family members getting ill, so thank you somuch for everything. See you tomorrow for more posts!

Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder Review

Well, let me just say that the blog made me do it. I went online, and in moment of weakness, I splashed out £29 on pretty much baby powder. Now, I would like to add, that when purchasing this I somehow managed to get a sparkly version, which has it’s advantages and disadvantages, but the actual powder is a very lovely smooth consistency. It applies well and baking with it is extremely easy.

If mine is applied right, I can use it as a highlight, which is lovely and its nice that it is multi-functional.

DSC_0257.JPG

Overall, I think that this is a good product, but I do think that there are cheaper setting powders for much less, which are much better, for example the elf setting powder, which is a fraction of the price.

See y’all later!

Columbia Road Flower Market

Today, I went to Columbia Road Flower Market in London, which I have been to many times before. This is a fabulous market if you are a flower lover, and also a great place to get gifts. When I’m super broke and and I need to get an adult a gift. It has all types of flowers from succulents, to roses and hydrangeas. The flowers change sometimes during the year, but the roses and the pot plants such as orchids stay the year round.DSC_0150.JPG

The parking at Columbia Road is slightly difficult as most of the space is permit holders only. That would not be an issue if you are travelling by train, which is easily done as it is very near a train station, but if your are coming by car it is slightly trickier. The prices at the markets are relatively good but they are a lot cheaper than your standard supermarket and especially good if your dabble in flower arranging, as it means you can try out many different varieties.DSC_0147.JPG

It is on Sunday at 8 AM but carries on till about three, but I recommend you going early as it gets extremely busy towards the end and as it is in quite a small street so it’s hard to squeeze past with any flowers when it gets busier.DSC_0172.JPG

There is a little café at the end of the road which I recommending grabbing a bite from, as it has a lot of lovely authentic Spanish food. It is a very nice trip and also a very good idea if it’s nearing a holiday or a birthday any would like a lot of flowers in your home. I also think it’s very good for someone who does not know a lot about flowers as the vendors

there can give very good advice. I will probably do another blog post on flower arranging and then I will get back to my usual reviews. See you next time!
